Warner Robins sweeps Stratford

“When I look at the stats and see that everyone contributed in some way I am definitely happy.”

That was Warner Robins Head Coach Cassie Bennett following the Demonettes’ 2-0 win over Stratford Tuesday at home. The girls won the first game 25-20 and the second 25-11.

Anna Slaughter and Hannah Spalding started off with “strong” serves in the first set, Bennett said. They had two aces each, but Natalee Nino, she said, “stood out in the second set” with five aces.

Slaughter did lead the team with kills. She had three. Hannah Luke also had eight digs.

“Overall, I feel like the girls are starting the season off well,” said Bennett. “They played as a team last night.”
