Weather prompts postponements to start of playoff series’

Weather has postponed the beginning of the GHSA baseball  playoffs for most of Houston County’s schools (maybe all before it’s said and done). While Perry and Houston County have confirmed postponements, Veterans is still hoping to get in its start against Statesboro.   Below are the rescheduled start times – if applicable – for the best-of-three series.

UPDATE: STATESBORO AT VETERANS. STATESBORO WON GAME 1 (2-0), TEAMS WILL PLAY ON A DOUBLEHEADER(IF NEEDED) STARTING AT 4PM FRIDAY

Brunswick at Houston County, Game 1, 4:30 PM Thursday.  Game 2 to follow, “if needed” game scheduled for Friday @ 6:00 PM

UPDATE: HOUSTON GAME HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED DUE TO WEATHER, GAME 1 WILL BEGIN AT 4:30 P.M. FRIDAY, GAME 2 TO FOLLOW, IF NEEDED IS NOW SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY AT 1 P.M.
