Houston County Bears Golf hosted the annual Bear Invitational Golf Tournament yesterday at Southern Landings Golf Club. In its 10th year, the event is a sanctioned 18 hole tournament for Varsity girls and JV boys.
The Perry JV Boys finished in first place followed by runner up Columbus High School. In the girl’s tournament, Columbus High School took first place ahead of runner up Brookstone High School.
Individual low medalist for the girl’s was Valdosta High’s Padgett Chitty with a score of 72 and boy’s low medalist was Veterans High’s Jason Cruise, who fired a 66.
