Northside rolled past Henry County in 2016. Northside rolled past Henry County in 2017. In the first it was 49-0. Thursday it was 44-6.

Daniel Neal helped lead the way – with a little help from his friends, of course.
He scored on a 2-yard run to get the Eagles on the board early in the first. Cory Munson then made it 7-0 with the point after.
After a Warhawks punt followed by both turning it over on downs, quarterback Jadin Daniels kept it and went 45 yard for another Eagle score. The PAT missed, but Northside had all the points it would need.
Both went scoreless in the second – the Eagles did block a field goal attempt before the half that would have made it 13-3. Northside then broke it open with 28 points in the third.
Neal scored again to get things started. This time it was from the 3. The drive went 66 yards. Neal had 63 of them. The other three were a half-the-distance to the goal on a penalty. Munson made it 20-0. Then it was Neal – Marcus Jolly setting it up with a 60-yard punt return – from the 5 and a Munson point after to make it 27-0.
A fumble recovery by the Eagles led to a 13-yard pass from Daniels to Kobie Phillips for another score. Munson made it 34-0.
Another Henry County punt led to Courtney Patmon’s 56-yard touchdown run.
Finally, with the game about two minutes in the fourth, Munson connected on a 42-yard field goal.
The Warhawks finally got on the board with about three minutes left in the game on a five-yard pass from quarterback Chris Phillips to Dray Starr. That was set up by a 41-yard kickoff return by Billy Jerome. He also had an interception. The point after was missed.
The win evened Northside’s record to 1-1 whereas it was Henry County’s opener.
