Terra Odom and Emily Davis each drove in four runs to lift Perry to its first win of the year, a 13-5 victory over Warner Robins, Tuesday at home. The Lady Panthers and Demonettes are now both 1-3.

Odom finished 3-3 with a walk. She also scored once. Davis was 2-4 and also scored twice.
Warner Robins started the game out with a pair of runs in the first. That came via three doubles, one by Taylor Corley, one by Ryla Christian and one by Jordan Thomas. Corley finished 1-3, Christian and Thomas 2-3 – her second hit being a homerun.
Perry answered those runs – and went out front for good – with three in the bottom of the inning.
Odom started it with a walk. Odom was caught stealing but Olivia Hardy followed and reached on an error. That was one of three by the Demonettes, while the Lady Panthers were perfect in the field. Hardy scored on Annie Chance’s double and Chance came in on Lauren Heath’s single. Heath made it to second on a fielder’s choice, stole third and came in on a ball that got past the catcher.

Perry added six more runs in the bottom of the third. Warner Robins answered that with three in the top of the fourth to make it 9-5, but was never able to get any closer. The Lady Panthers’ other runs came in the fifth and sixth – one and three, respectively.
Perry out-hit Warner Robins 13-9. Defensively, Ashley Gidney worked four innings to earn the win. She gave up the hits and runs while walking three and striking out one.
Elsewhere, chances are five errors won’t sit well, but the fact Madison Bussell only gave up three hits en route to a 9-5 win for Veterans at Tift County might help ease the pain. It also kept the Lady Warhawks undefeated at 3-0. Tift County fell to 0-5.
Bussell went six innings, while giving up the five runs. She walked one and struck out three.
Four of those runs came in the sixth. Veterans, with two each in the second and third, three in the fourth and two in the sixth, were already up 9-1 at that time; the Lady Blue Devils’ run coming in the first.
Veterans also put 12 hits on the board. Jenna Thomas was 2-3 with a run scored. Raegan Stella was 2-2 with a run scored and Kyndall Foster was 2-4 with two runs scored to help lead the way. Jalah Gainous was only 1-3, but she drove in two with the hit.

Also on the road, Houston County beat West Laurens 4-1. The Raiderettes kept pace with the Lady Bears in the hit department – 10-8 in favor of the visitor – just not in runs.
Houston County’s first run came in the second when Megan Whitaker reached on an error and scored on Rylee Lamb’s double.
That was to do it until the fifth, when it added its final three.
Lamb finished the day 2-3, while Madi Campbell, Grace Hardee and Megan Whitaker were each 2-4.
Lamb worked six and a third innings for the win. She gave up the hits and run, walked two and struck out four.
The Lady Bears improved to 3-2 with the win while West Laurens fell to 0-2.
